19th Century French Hand-Painted Barbotine Rooster Vase Signed Jerome Massier

A true collector's item, the piece is signed on the bottom "Jerome Massier Vallauris" (1850-1916). The small antique Majolica chicken from France has an expressive face and stands next to a vase that could easily be used for flowers. This hand-painted rooster vase is in excellent condition, and has a sharp color palette of yellow, red, green and blue.
