American school bronze prancing horse, titled "Empty Saddle", circa 1900, hollow cast bronze, mounted on a carved polychrome wood base. Unmarked, Small statue of a prancing horse, dark patinated bronze with core left inside, carved wood rocky base is finished in imitation of bronze. Good condition, some verdigris, circa 1900. The bronze measures 6 7/8"-inches high x 4 5/8"-inches wide x 2"-inches wide.
