Bronze statue with dark brown patina featuring an elephant and its two baby elephants. The group rests on a black marble base. This bronze animal sculpture is signed: Caputo Bronze. Art Deco period. Ulisse Caputo (1872-1948) is a Neapolitan painter who lived in Paris. Student of Domenico Morelli and Gaetano Esposito, he came to Paris in 1900 and exposed at the Paris Salon from 1901, circa 1930. Dimensions: W 29.1 in - D 8.5in - H 10.6in. Dimensions: L 74cm, P 21.5cm, H 27cm.
