Art Deco "Pelican Max Le Verrier "
Genuine period sculpture. Excellent condition.
Silvered Metal mounted over a dark Green marble base.
One of the famous Pelican in the Art Deco style of Max Le Verrier (1908-1969). This master French decorator one of the most famous after the war began his training at the School of Fine Arts and Art Deco of Paris. He obtained a Gold Medal at the International Expo of Modern Deco and Industrial Arts in Paris 1925 (Founding Expo of the Art Deco style). He created a foundry for the production of his pieces. And was also Artistic Director Fontana Arte.
