About the Item

Beautiful perched panther, sculpture in plaster and resin by the artist Christine Onillon. His figurative artistic work is based on observation, analysis and many drawings of preparatory studies. It uses materials such as earth, resin, plaster as well as stone and bronze. Nourished by the works of the History of Art and by the attentive observation of the living, she tries to express the life and emotion that emanates from the subject inspiring her work. Trained at the Fine Art School of Tours-TALM (CROS -Option Sculpture), with the intensive practice of copying from the Masters, the drawing of living model, Christine Onillon (Chantier du Louvre, monumental sculpture in pierre), will complete his training at the Ecole Boulle, at ADAC Paris (Living Model, Direct Size with Sylvie Lejeune), at ENSBA (Artistic Morphology with Professor Guy Debord) and also by many hours drawing in National Museums! Meetings of contemporary artists, and in particular that of Parisian Animal Artists, have been decisive in his creative work, opening up largely to animal art. It's during one of her Parisian exhibitions that Christine Onillon meets Michel Audiard. From this meeting will be born a rich and fruitful collaboration between the two artists. Miche Audiard then said of her: "I love its work and that it deserves to be exposed, that I want to thank her these beautiful years shared. She is the vein of a Camille Claudel. She is a true and great sculptor ". This sculpture is signed and bears the initials E.A for proof of artist.
