About the Item

Beautiful and unusual, Murano hand blown jet black with gold and silver flecks Italian art glass snail paperweight figurine. The piece has an original clear and gold label that reads “Vetreria Venier Murano”. It does look very similar to Gambaro & Poggi pieces I have owned before. The body of the snail has swirling bands of gold leaf and silver leaf curled together as the shell. The core of the piece is also black, as you can see from the bottom. Made with very thick glass. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table or credenza. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Measures: 4” tall x 4 5/8” long x 3 1/2” wide.
