Murano Glass Rhinoceros Designed by Antonio Da Ros for Cenedese

$2,200

About

This is a beautifully blown, somerso Murano glass rhinoceros. This piece was designed by Antonio Da Ros and blown by Fabio Tosi for Cenedese Vetri. The horns, nostrils, eyes and belly feature a deep cobalt blue somerso glass. The piece is signed and dated, "Fabio Tosi - Gino Cenedese - Murano - 1982" on four lines. The Cenedese sticker is still on the piece. This could easily function as a paperweight or the piece of art that it is on its own.
