Oiva Toikka, Sieppo, Bird, Nuutajarvi / Iittala, 1990s

About the Item

Product Description:  On offer here is a reprinted version of Sieppo with legs, manufactured in 1995 by Oiva Toikka. The early footed Sieppo was created in many color variations, but the reprint is only made in this green color. It is a cute work with a chubby body, feathers which are slightly on the short side, and a lovely tail. The signature under the footing reads: "O. Toikka Nuutajrvi 1995". Product Condition: There are air bubbles in the object's tail, and there is a slight dent present under the left wing when viewed from the front. Some uneveness in the glass is present on the bird's beak as in other places but these are created in the production process and make for the individuality of the work. Overall, there are almost no threads and the item is in very good condition. Series: Sieppo Weight: 303g.
