Pair of Viennese Art Deco Brass Stylized Waterbuck Sculptures

About the Item

This refined pair of Art Deco stylized waterbuck brass sculptures were realized in Vienna, circa 1940. They feature abstracted interpretations of the waterbuck- an African plains antelope- one lying down, the other upright and both with their heads turned giving each of their forms an artful curve. With their clean modernist lines and austere silhouettes, these pieces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They are in excellent vintage condition and marked "Mamamama Vienna New York." Vienna, circa 1940 Dimensions: 1. 7" H x 6.5" W x4" D 2.8.5" H x 7" W x 4" D.
