Two lovely Art Deco bookends, designed by Chris van der Hoef for Gero in Zeist. The tin bookends show two cats drinking from their bowls. The bookends are both marked with the manufacturers mark at the end of the plates and monogrammed with the artists initials 'CJH' on the figures. The bookends are executed by Gero in 1933.
A true talking piece in your interior and a beautiful addition to your bookcase!
