19th Century Terracotta Statue 'Cupido Taking an Arrow' After Etienne Falconet
About the Item
Beautiful antique terracotta sculpture, depicting Cupid taking an arrow from his quiver to shoot with his bow. The statue is inspired by a famous 18th century work by the sculptor Etienne Maurice Falconet (1716-1791). The statue is made of terracotta, it is patinated in beautiful colors with gold accents at the foot. The statue is also marked on the bottom. The statue is in good condition.
