Art Deco African Head Sculpture by Karl Hagenauer


This lovely African sculpture was created by Karl Hagenauer of Vienna Austria. There was a fascination with African fashion and design throughout Europe in the Art Deco period. The sculpture is cast bronze, with a blackened patina. The original earring is still intact. The work is stamped on the underside "Hagenauer Wien Made in Vienna Austria Handmade" and displays the wHw logo. The sculpture is in excellent original condition, and displays beautifully.
