About the Item
After the model by Pierre (Pietro Francavilla) de Francheville) (1548-1615) This energetic model of an athlete in motion has finely detailed musculature. The patina is a rich brown typical of early European bronze statuettes. The left hand is missing. Measurements include the modern black marble base.
