Bronze Sculpture, English Steeple Chase

About the Item

This stylish bronze equestrian sculpture dates to turn of the 19th century and was created by Hans Harders, and here Harders has captured the energy, speed and grace of the English steeple chase. Note: Signed HARDERS on the base (see image). Note: The piece is cast bronze in a natural and cold patinated finish, and is mounted on a verdi green marble base.
