Delhi Dancer' an Art Deco cold painted gilt bronze figure by Demetre Chiparus (1886-1947). An athletic dancer dressed in scantily clad theatrical costume with arms outstretched caught in motion with one leg raised. Excellent hand finished detail and fine colour. Raised on a stepped variegated marble base and signed 'Chiparus' to base.
