Large French Art Deco Mannequin Display of 1930s Chic Woman
About the Item
A very large and stunning hand painted French Art Deco necklace and/or camisole display mannequin bust of a chic woman. Her expression is not only one of modest beauty, typical of the day, but also chic and stately. The bust is painted in shades of buttery cream with light golden hair, reddish lips, blue eyes and shades of grey on the eyes and pencil thin eyebrows. The bust is hand painted cast plaster and measures 14.5 inches wide at the shoulders, 6.5 inches deep or front to back at the head and 34 inches tall. Extremely rare to find in such excellent and original condition with only light scuffs and distressing. Structure is sound. Currently the item is located in Rome, Italy. Will be brought to NYC. May also be shipped from Rome, Italy.
