About the Item
Beautiful and unusual, large vintage Murano hand blown white with red, blue and black spots Italian art glass "Dandy" clown figure sculpture. Created in the manner of designer Alfredo Barbini and the Salviati company. He wears an oversized white suit with large bell bottom pants and large jacket with oversize bow tie. He has a large pocket watch, and gold leaf top hat. The figure also has gold flecks on the watch chain. Would make a great display piece on any credenza, side table or bookcase. Mid-century era. May be of interest to clown / circus collectors. Measures 10 3/4" tall x 6 1/4" long x 5" wide.
