A pink-black, single vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian Japanese farmer made of hand blown colored Murano glass, designed by Archimede Seguso and produced by Seguso Vetri D’Arte in good condition. The detailed slightly smoked décor piece represents a man with a large hat. Manufacturer label underneath the base. Wear consistent with age and use. circa 1950 - 1960, Murano, Italy. Base: 2.5" W x 2.5" D Hat: 2.75" diameter Archimede Seguso was an Italian glass manufacturer and a designer born in 1909, in Murano, Italy and passed away in 1999. At the age of 11, Seguso started training and working as a glassmaker at his father's glass company. Later on, circa in 1930, he took over the family business, named Seguso Vetri d'Arte.
