Set of Four Early 20th Century Dutch Hand Painted Porcelain Delft Figurines
About the Item
Crafted in Holland circa 1920, the four faience sculptures depict peasant young beauties in traditional clothing. One woman has a duck and dog, another holding eggs with chicken, another with a goat and the last one with a basket of flowers. The figurines are very detailed and hand painted in the traditional soft blue and white colors. Each delft figure is stamped on the bottom with markings for further authentication. They are in excellent condition and would make a wonderful display on a kitchen counter or on a shelf. A must have for the blue and white lovers!
