About the Item
An absolutely charming cast bronze boxer dog, cold painted in Austria, circa 1900.
I think what was done at a later date was it was mounted during the 1930s onto a chrome plinth marked on the underside "Made In England"; I believe this was then used as a car mascot.
The dog is beautifully executed with the original paint, wear commensurate with age.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" tall.
