"Vienna Bronze" Style Sculpture of a Camel and Rider
About the Item
This large scale Viennese style figure of a camel and rider dates to the 1920s and 1930s, and the piece is fabricated in a hand painted, base-metal, and a black granite base. The piece is reminiscent of the Viennese, cold-painted bronzes so popular at the turn of the century.
Note: The piece retains its original retailers lable from Antwerp, Belgium.
Note: There are flea-bites on the corners of the base and some surface scratches also (see images).
