About the Item

This is a beautifully sculpted composite marble sculpture of a delightful classical maiden figure, late 20th century in date. This attractive sculpture features the charming maiden with a cloth draped loosely over her left leg. She is gracefully leaning forward with her left foot over a rock. The three-dimensionality of the statue is typical of Hellenistic sculpture, as is the hairstyle with its elaborate top-knot. It is raised on an integrally carved square spreading base. This high-quality bust is made from marble dust or artificial marble. Condition: In excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation.
