About

A rare and extraordinary, high-style Art Deco sculpture, this depiction of a female figure uplifting a dove, is full of texture and color. The terra cotta figure is finished with a rich, mottled patina, and is joined to a dove in green cast glass backed by gold leaf. This piece is highly dramatic when lit by raking light; it is only the second example we have seen. The reverse is signed by the artist.
