Wooden carved black forest dwarf sitting on a three stump. A wooden handcarved dwarf holding a crest. Mounted on a wooden base featuring a three stump and rocks. The lindenwood design is manufactured in Switzerland, Brienz ca. 1900. The tradition of wood carving, using manual skills to make everyday objects and fine art sculptures, is found throughout Europe.
