Lit Sculptural Ring Designed by Pascale Giradin, Renowned Canadian Artist
About the Item
Designed by renowned Canadian artist Pascale Giradin for the 2008 International Design Show, this piece is a scaled enlargement of a small porcelain ring made by Pascale Giradin. The small model was scanned by laser and reproduced using CNC machines to make the mold of the 6-foot ring. Only 3 pieces were ever cast from the mold, which is now lost. The ring is lit from within with LEDs, which give a soft glow.
