The Conlinoceras Tarrantense Ammonite is considered rare and is highly sought after as a collector's item. This one is unique in that it was discovered in the open on one side state, showing its fossilized interiors. This one comes with a free acrylic stand (shown in some of the photos). We photographed this ammonite at two different times of the day to give a sense of how it looks in different lighting, but of course keep in mind every environment is different and colors on monitors are different as well. Since this is a prehistoric fossil it will show its age (of course!) potentially such as cracks, pits, etc. We do our best to find the nicest possible items with the least bothersome imperfections. We think this one is lovely. IMPORTANT General Information:
