About the Item
Vintage spider conch shell dipped in silver alloy, circa Late 20th Century. This unique seashell has been partially dipped in silver alloy and retains its gorgeous vintage appearance. The interior has a beautiful creamy pink coloring while the top of the shell is speckled in brown over white and surrounded by silver.
A unique item that can be placed flat on the table or laying on its side. Although the silver appears to be silver plated, it is an alloy similar to aged nickel or German Silver. This gorgeous seashell will make a real statement in any luxury coastal home.
This shell is very reminiscent of the renowned Italian artist and silversmith Mario Buccellati.
