19th Century Pair of Opaline Crystal Perfume Bottle by Jean-Baptiste Desvignes
About the Item
Pair of perfume bottles with their ball-shaped stoppers in “bulle de savon” (soap bubble) Opaline. They are each decorated with a frieze of gold and blue anemones and forget-me-nots. Gilded bands adorn the bottle and neck, and the stopper is topped with petals. The delicate decoration was produced by the Jean-Baptiste Desvignes studio,
