A wonderful collection of hand blown glass bottles each filled with an assortment of bobbins of coloured thread rescued from a mill in Belgium circa 1920. Please notice the subtle variations in the gorgeous glass on each of the jars as well as the striking and vibrant colours of the thread. Textiles have always been a large component of Belgium's economy beginning in the sixteenth century with the creation of extravagant tapestries full of detail and beauty. The random placement of these artifacts from the early twentieth century possess an unexpected allure whether displayed as a single jar or as a collection displayed together. We have a collection of three bottles and they are offered individually.
