Art Nouveau Majolica Jardinière/ Cachepot Hand Painted, France, circa 1915

$1,450

About

Exceptional colorful Majolica jardinière or cachepot from Art Nouveau period around 1915 in France. An unusual shape, delicate floral design elements and a beautiful coloration in brown, green, red and blue tones combined makes this piece of french majolica art a very decorative one. Two mystical faces in light blue on each front side finalize the fantastic look. This early 20th century jardiniere/ cachepot comes in great original condition by showing some "craquele" - the typical micro cracks in the glaze.
