Brass coal hod or jardiniere - ideal as a wine/beer cooler, for kindling, as a jardiniere, etc. Lion mask & ring handles. Accent bosses at the top & base. Repousse work of gadrooning, fleur de lys, flower vase & coat of armor with shields crest. English, late 19th century. 15 1/2" over handle, 14" dia., 13 1/2" h.
