Pair of French Art Deco Wrought Iron and Glass Cachepots by Muller Freres, 1930s

About the Item

A wonderful pair of Muller Freres art glass and nickel-plated wrought iron cachepots. Dating to the Art Deco period. In the style of Edgar Brandt or Louis Majorelle with blown amethyst or purple glass in a wrought iron cachepot or planter basket. Each with an etched signature that reads: MULLER FRES LUNEVILLE Measure: Height ca. 4 1/2 in. Length ca. 9 3/8 in.

    Wear consistent with age and use. With a number of minor fitting or small flakes to the rims, some rubbing to the nickel plating and some spots of rust, some fine and light scratches here and there and scuffing to the bottom edges of the glass, and other signs of expected light wear.
