Rare Geometrical Design and Majolica Glazed Arts & Crafts Jardinière / Planter

$889.15

About

Handcrafted and wonderfully decorative antique jardinière. This stunning Majolica glazed jardinière from the German Arts & Crafts era comes with a beautiful and truly elegant decor of stylized flowers on both sides. What makes this Majolica glazed antique extra rare is its shape. We have never before seen a rectangular Majolica glazed planter and to have found one from the Arts & Crafts era makes it extra special and desirable. You can find various Majolica glazed jardinières from the Victorian era, but they never have this cool and practical rectangular design. All handcrafted in the studio of Ludwig Wessel in Germany (founded in 1896) it is pretty amazing that after more than one hundred years, this piece only has two very small, superficial chips (image 11 and 15). This rectangular and vibrant Arts & Crafts planter will look great on a credenza, a side table, a windowsill or any other part of your living space that can do with a stylish Arts & Crafts upgrade. Our price for this rare antique even includes perfect packing and also worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 4 days. Measures: Maximum width x height x depth 11.4 x 4.8 x 4.65 inches.
