This elegant pair of vases, made of green granite in the nineteenth century, has shape and decorations of neoclassical taste, Louis XVI. The shape is that of the urn vase taken from the classic models. These decorative elements, executed using a single piece of granite, have on the top a gilded bronze decoration finely chiselled with acanthus leaf motifs and palmettes. The square section base is also made of green granite.
The refined pair of vases is to be considered very decorative and elegant, and can be displayed both indoors and outdoors as decorative elements, bookends, over console or chest of drawers or even in private environments such as bathrooms or studios and living rooms.
