2 Antique Three-Color Blue, White & Cranberry Overlay Bohemian Cut Glass Vases

About the Item

A fine and very rare pair of antique 3-color Bohemian cut glass vases. Each cased with thick layers of blue & white glass over a cranberry ground and wheel-cut with geometric patterns. Examples of three-color cut glass vases are extremely hard to find, and this handsome pair of large vases is a rarity indeed! Date: 19th century Overall condition: It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition details: There are chips and losses to both vases. One vase has several chips to its top rim and a few flakes to the overlay in the body. The second vase has a few tiny flakes and spots of fritting to the top rim and a few flakes and tiny spots of fritting to its body as well. Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches here & there and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
