20th Century, Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte Brass Vase

About the Item

Some notes about the author Max Ingrand: a famous French master glass worker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte for one decade, starting from 1954. During that time, he came up with true design classics. Having studied at the school of fine Arts in Paris, he specialized in the decorative Arts, under the guidance of major artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He produced a great number of stained glass panels for religious buildings, hotels and public places, and was awarded the French Legion of Honour. Her we have a Flower vase designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte circa 1950. The vase is in brass and frosted glass. Patina of time, good condition and fully original. We recommend a wooden crate for shipping to prevent glass damage.
