About the Item

Large, colorful mid-century Murano glass vase out of the famous glass art workshops of Sommerso on the little island of Murano -Venetia. Artfully made around 1960/70 in Italy, this very decorative, beautifully shaped glass vase impresses with its pleasing coloration going from a shiny red to lovely intense orange, ending in an amber colored base. An exceptional piece of Murano glass art with an unique look which reminds us of a wonderful big blossom when you are watching it from above (see the last picture). Marked with the famous golden/ red paper mark.
