Antique Venetian Murano Pink Blue Rim Gold Flecks Italian Art Glass Flower Vase
About the Item
Beautiful, antique, early Venetian / Murano hand blown pink, blue and gold flecks Italian art glass flower vase. Created in the manner of the Salviati and Fratelli Toso companies. The vase has a thin flared out rim, and applied foot, both lined with a rich sapphire blue glass. It also has blue ring around the neck, and 4 water droplets applied to the edge of the body on the vase. The color of the piece is made by thousands of little pink dots melting into the glass, that create the overall color. The vase is profusely covered in a layer of gold leaf throughout it. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. Late Victorian, Art Nouveau era. Collectors item! Measures 7 5/8" tall x 4 1/4" wide.
