Antique Venetian Murano Red Gold Flecks Fish Stem Italian Art Glass Vase
About the Item
Beautiful, antique, early Venetian / Murano hand blown ruby red with gold flecks Italian art glass with ornate fish stem vase / table object. Created in the manner of the Salviati and Fratelli Toso companies. The color is a bright red, with clear fish and berry decoration that are filled with heavy gold leaf. It also has a ruffled rim with gold trim, and a large applied red foot. Would make a great piece for any curio cabinet, vanity or coffee table. Could also be used as a candle holder. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Art Nouveau, Art Deco era. Measures 6 1/2" tall x 3 3/8" wide at the base.
