Art Deco Glass Vase Signed L GRAS
About the Item
A stunning mid 20th century glass vase signed L Gras. It is of french origin from the 1930’s. The vase is clear-polished and sandblasted, thus showcasing a geometric figure typical of the Art-Déco movement. The blasting was probably done with a technique using acid. The olive green colour is smooth and the rendering is absolutely stunning. The state of the vase is really good considering the number of years it holds, it has aged beautifully and is ready for the next adventure of an impressive lifetime. Whether you chose to have it displayed with light to enhance the colour or having it serving its function of containing, it is just as edgy and will definitely catch the eye of many.
