Two Art Nouveau vases crafted in green and cream glazed ceramic by the famed Friedrich Goldscheider of Vienna. Each vase features an enchanting woman coming out from drapes. The neck is bordered with flowers. Signed Honger. Stamped Reproduction réservée. A vase is numbered 927, 13 and 65, and the other one 928, 6 and 35. The fluid and sensual forms epitomize the aesthetic appeal of the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900.

Friedrich Goldscheider founded the Goldscheider manufactory and Majolica Factory in Vienna in 1885. The factory achieved success in a short space of time, opening subsidiary branches in Paris, Florence ans Leipzig. Goldscheider Manufactory was particularly well-known for its terracotta, ceramics, bronze and faience collectables. He succeeded in setting the style for Art Nouveau ceramics, and is praised as one of the leading ceramic manufactories of the late 19th century and early 20th century.
