Bauhaus German Art Deco Blue Texture Glazed Squat Round Vase
About the Item
A very stylish Art Deco Bauhaus attributed modernist vase decorated in blue textured glazes dating from the 1930/40’s. The vase of squat wide rounded shape stands on a flat metallic glazed base with small narrow raised round opening, the body decorated in thick textured lava like blue glazes applied over the metallic glazed ground. The vase is not marked but typical of German pieces from the Bauhaus period.
