About the Item

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown white and sapphire blue ribbons Italian art glass small flower bud vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for the Aureliano Toso workshop circa 1950s. The published design is in many books and catalogs. The vase has a ribbon pattern called "Mezza Filigrana" with a line of glittery copper aventurine dividing the colors, completing the design. It has a cylinder shape with a flat rim. Would make great display piece on any vanity or desk. Fill it with fresh cut flowers from your yard, or showcase it in a curio cabinet. Mid-century era.
