About the Item
Rare Murano hand blown millefiori murrines, Zanfirico ribbons, Filigrana and color patches Italian art glass vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1954, in the "Frammentati" design model # 6097. An excerpt from the Dino Martens book by Marc Heiremans: "Introduced around 1955, the wall of objects that belong to this series was composed of numerous fragmentary splinters in various techniques". The series was not in production for very long and is highly sought after by collectors. Would make a great display piece on any table, credenza or display cabinet. Mid-century era. Collectors item! Measures 9 1/4" tall x 5" wide.

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown white and blue ribbons Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The vase is created in the “Mezza Filigrana” technique, with 5 rows of white and 1 row of sky blue ribbons in an alternating pattern. You can feel each ribbon on the outside when you touch it. Very nice hourglass shape with a cinched middle and flared top. Would make great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-century era. Measures 8 3/4" tall x 5 1/4" across the body.
