Pair of French Silver & Limoges Enamel Vases, Retailed by Tiffany & Co.

About the Item

A pair of French silver & Limoges enamel vases, retailed by Tiffany & Co., 19th century. The silver mounts with JC hallmarks, for Joseph Cousin, Paris. The first painted with a couple next to a rowboat with a castle in the distance, the second with a hunter and dog encountering a woman disrobing at water’s edge, the scenes are signed by artist. Marked on neck rims, the base of one engraved TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK. Measures: 9.5? high x 3? diameter. Good condition, Normal wear consistent with age and use. Minor flaking to enamel rims where silver mounts are attached. Not visible. Due to the item's age do not expect items to be in perfect condition and I may not describe every little scratch or spot.
