Rare slightly opalescent glass vase in baluster shape with a gorgeous enameled decor of pansy flowers and foliage. The Artist treated purposely the decor with freedom of expression as the branches are scrolling or are interrupted at top in order to have imagination at work for the observer... The top of the vase is gilded. The signature is on the base, painted in gold "Mont Joye L&Cie". Collectors are often looking for this signature, done by Legras only for his top quality items. For the anecdote "Mont Joye" was the assembly cry for the French King's troops since the 12th century.
