Elegant Art Deco vase by Saint-Clement, France. Large ceramic vase with off-white crackle glaze finish. Features a large puffy round shape with small collar opening and detailed carved stylized floral design all around collar with geometric shape. Engraved model number underside.
The crackle clear glaze was a popular technique for animal and figural statues as well as decorative vases during the Art Deco period in France.
Measurements: 10.25 in. diameter (26 cm) x 7.88 in. high (20 cm).
It is very interesting to mix and match those vases to create decorative ensemble, either by assorting or contrasting, the design, the shape or the glaze pattern (please check our last picture for suggestion).
