Green Glass Vase with Controlled Air Bubbles by Jacob Bang, 1950s

About the Item

Green Sommerso vase designed by Jacob E. Bang. It is made from hand blown clear and green glass featuring tiny controlled air bubbles created using a small syringe. It was manufactured at Kastrup/Holmegaard during the 1950s. The vase is not signed, which is common for the early pieces. Very reminiscent in style to similar pieces by Gunnel Nyman.
