About the Item

From a collection of glasses by Koloman Moser: extremely rare large fishbowl vase for the Wiener Werkstätte. Colorless glass, from top to bottom; optically blown. Decor Meteor. Made by Adolf Meyr`s nephew for E. Bakalowits sons - distributed by Wiener Werkstätte. Excellent vintage condition except some small discoloration at the bottom (see pictures). Literature: MAK, Archive of the Wiener Werkstätte, Inv. No. GL 3470-90; The Glass of the Architects, p. 93. Dimensions: Height: 19.4cm Diameter (top): 17.9cm Diameter (widest point): 24cm
