Large Chinese Trailing Vine Jar
About the Item
Representing royalty and virtue, peonies in full bloom grace the rounded sides of this large porcelain jar. The jar has a tapered body and a cylindrical neck, decorated with a contemporary interpretation of the traditional trailing vine scroll pattern. Using an open and flowing hand as well as a sophisticated palette of charcoal and indigo, the artist surprises with a powerful, modern statement.
